 Edith Ramirez de Luchhau 

Soy Edith Ramirez de Luchhau, arquitecta colombiana nacida en 1950

Estudié y ejercí mi profesión sin la sistematizaciòn actual; al realizar planos , dibujos y pinturas a mano alzada me permitieron imprimir en los trabajos un carácter y expresión  personales.

Llegue a Alemania a finales del 2015, el contraste entre el clima invernal y mi clima  tropical me lleno de nostalgia, entonces decidí retomar la pintura y sobre los lienzos plasmar y mostrar lo exótico del  trópico siempre lleno de sol, luz y color; de esa manera doy a conocer mis orígenes y tranquilizo mi espíritu.

Consciente de que el mundo es un solo tejido, formado por los seres vivos y la naturaleza y por mi responsabilidad frente al medio ambiente, me inspiré en la magia que contiene el gran río Amazonas, tan necesario para la vida y la salud de todos los seres humanos.

Mein Name ist Edith Ramirez de Luchhau, eine kolumbianische Architektin des 1950er Jahrgangs.

Ich habe meinen Beruf studiert und ausgeübt bevor die Digitalisierung überhandnahm. Die Planung und Durchführung von Plänen, Gemälden und Zeichnungen frei Hand, die ich während dessen lernte, erlaubten es mir meinen Arbeiten einen persönlichen Charakter und Ausdruck zu verleihen.

Ich kam Ende 2015 nach Deutschland und der Kontrast des Winterwetters mit meinem gewohnten tropischen Klima rief einen Sinn von Nostalgie hervor. Ich entschloss mich daraufhin die Malerei wieder aufzunehmen und durch die Leinwand die Exotik der Tropen, mit all ihrer Sonne, ihrem Licht und ihren Farben, zu portraitieren. Auf diese Art und Weise gedenke ich meiner Wurzeln und entspanne meinen Geist.

Im Gedenken daran, dass die ganze Welt ein einziges, großes Geflecht von Lebewesen und Natur ist und meine Verantwortung meiner Umgebung gegenüber gerecht werdend, wurde ich von der Magie, die der Amazonasstrom ausstrahlt, der so wichtig für das Überleben und die Gesundheit aller Menschen ist, inspiriert.

My name is Edith Ramirez de Luchhau, an architect from Colombia, born in 1950.

I have studied and worked in my field of choice before the digitalization of the art took place. The art of planning and developing architectural plans, paintings and drawings I learned at the time allowed me to breathe a personal character and expression into my work.

I arrived at the end of 2015 in Germany and the contrast of the German winter weather against my favored tropical climate gave birth to a sense of nostalgia. Therefore, I decided to take up painting again to portrait the exotic beauty of the tropics, full of sun, light and colors. That way, I express my heritage and calm my spirit.

Being aware that the world is one big network of living beings and nature and being conscious of my responsibility for my environment, I was inspired by the magic of the Amazon that is so important for the survival and health of all humankind.
